“Your beloved ANI”, as President Traian Basescu deemed it, in a conversation with 2007 Justice Minister Monica Macovei. Following a Constitutional Court decision, the National Integrity Agency was bereaved of the instruments granted to it by law in order to ensure the efficient control of assets statements and combat against conflicts and incompatibilities.
The Romanian Television Society also approached the topic during the ‘Theme of the Day’ show, during which Romanian Academic Society anti-corruption program coordinator Laura Stefan and National Integrity Agency Secretary General Horia Georgescu were invited.
