The Romanian Academic Society, together with Structural Consulting Group has organized a set of interviews with beneficiaries of structural and cohesion funds. The discussions took place between 25-26 June2013, in Bucharest. The main topic of these interviews was to identify good practices for improving EU funds fraud control in Romania.
During the past year, SAR’s team working on the project „European Funds: Guidelines on defrauding”, has been focusing on the management of European funds, especially monitoring good governance and fraud prevention. In order to continue the efforts for identifying the most important risk indicators of fraud and inadequacies at both program and project level, we consider that beneficiaries’ input is vital in the process of research for preveting and signaling frauds and inadequate management.
